Introduction
P.J. Hoffmaster State Park features forest covered dunes along nearly 3 miles of Lake Michigan shore. Its sandy beach is one of the finest anywhere. A focal point of the park is the Gillette Visitor Center.The campground is closed for winter. Information about winter camping opportunities is available on the DNR web site.
Location Use exit #4 off of I-96 and follow the signs or take the Pontaluna Rd. Exit off of US-31 N.
Directions
US-31 to Pontaluna Rd. exit, go W. 3 miles to park entrance. Alt. Rte: Exit #4 I-96. Follow signs W. 6 miles to park entrance.
